There is no deadline tomorrow for the Do Not Call registry
Look, just so you know, that whole thing about having to get your cellphone number listed on the Do Not Call registry by tomorrow is just a hoax/urban legend. Not that you shouldn't get yourself on there anyway, but it's not true that on January 1st a list of all cellphone numbers will be turned over to telemarketers (though it's sad how strangely plausible that sounds). And just to be extra clear, having your cellphone number listed in the wireless directory assistance database that is being created will be on an opt-in basis only. Directory or no directory, nothing'll be able to deter us from our favorite means of abusing the phone system: dialing people at random.
