Black-market cellphone jammers selling fast
Ah, the streets of our fair city of New York, where unsuspecting tourists and savvy shoppers alike can buy anything from designer knockoffs (what, you didn't think we got our significant others actual Hermès bags, did you?) to $2 watches to… cellphone jammers? Well, actually you'll have to buy them in the secret back rooms of stores that are probably mob fronts (kind of like those knockoff bags these days), but they're apparently making the rounds from the LIRR to the village. We're not even sure where to get started with (illegal) vigilante cellphone jamming, but all we can say is that last night we got stuck seated next to this actor/dj/producer with his volume up to 11 that made us wish for a Chinatown Special like real bad.
