Is Wednesday the day for new iPods?

Is Wednesday the big day for new iPods? For the past week or so we've been inundated with iPod rumors (that the iPod is going to come in a bunch of different new colors, that the iPod mini is getting a color screen and a bump up to 5GB or 6GB, that there's a Bluetooth iPod on the way, etc), now MacShrine is piling it on with yet a few more, including a tipoff that Wednesday is the day when all of this will go down.

We're not sure we're buying everything they're selling, but they seem pretty sure that Apple is going to kick monochrome screens to the curb and go all color, with the 20GB and 40GB iPod giving way to a 30GB iPod photo that will retail for $349 and a 60GB iPod that will sell for $449 (note that this conflicts with what AppleInsider is reporting, they're saying that the price of the 40GB iPod photo will drop to $399 and the 60GB will go for $499). They're also claiming that there will definitely be a new 6GB version of the iPod mini that comes with a color LCD screen. That new 6GB iPod mini will retail for $249, but instead of eliminating the original 4GB iPod mini they're going to keep it around and just drop the price to $199. And oh yeah, they also seem sure that Apple is going to kill off the gold-colored iPod mini—guess it must not have been pulling its weight.
