Ubisoft will release Drakengard 2 in US
Ubisoft has just announced a deal to publish the Square Enix sequel Drakengard 2 for the PS2 in North America and Europe. It was launched in Japan earlier this year (where it is known as Drag-On Dragoon 2) and the Ubisoft port is set to ship in March.
The original Drakengard received only modest reviews and its blend of action and RPG elements were generally small consolation for the dull graphics and uninspired story. However, it gave PS2 owners a taste of Panzer Dragoon-style aerial combat that previously had only been available to Xbox gamers in the current generation.
