Roadscope Plus works as car black box, warning camera

Mount a Roadscope Plus camera behind your rearview mirror, and you'll be the safest driver on the road. Well, not quite. But the $287 camera, from Korea's PLK, sounds like it can help you out in a few tough spots, including warning you if you drift into the wrong lane and alerting you if the car in front of you at a red light starts to move (useful, we assume, if you often nod off at red lights). Its most attractive feature, however, may be the one that helps in the unlikely even that it fails to prevent an accident: it acts as a black box recorder, saving shots of the last few seconds before impact. That could be useful if you drift across lanes or don't wake up at the red light, despite the Roadscope's entreaties (though we assume you might not want evidence that you really are at fault in the resulting fender-bender).
