Powell says FCC has no interest in censoring satellite radio

Looks like Howard Stern will be able rest easy and let the expletives fly, since at a conference at CES yesterday FCC Chairman Michael Powell said that the government had no interest in censoring satellite radio, adding, "I think it's a dangerous thing to start talking about extending government oversight of content to other media just to level the playing field." Kinda reminds us of cable, don't you think? Well, it's not often we find ourselves agreeing with the FCC—let's just hope their actions match the words.
