Panasonic VS phones feature 24 bit displays, others crowd round for warmth
Not to be left out of the first news cycle at 3GSM, Panasonic brings 9 new handsets to the table. The first of this gang are the VS7 and the VS3. Both are clamshell phones with serious photographic aspirations. The VS7 includes a 2 megapixel camera, 2.5 inch display producing 16 million colors, and a color sub display. The VS3 features a 2.2 inch display (again 24 bit color), 1.3 megapixel camera, but lacks the sub display of its big brother. Both handsets feature interchangeable covers and push button auto open, for those of us who don't feel like using our opposable thumbs.
