Turn that Jobo Giga Vu into, well, whatever you want

You remember the Jobo Giga Vu Pro, don't you? Oh, no? Well, a quick refresher then; it's a versatile device meant to be used primarily as a photo viewer, which comes nicely specced out with a 3.8-inch screen, DivX and MPEG-4 playback support, a 40 or 60GB hard drive, and, of course, its photo offloading capabilities via CF or SD. But you might remember it a little bit better after learning a recently released SDK for the device opens wide the device's warm, chewy inner Linux center, making it ripe for all sorts of hacking, from loading up PDA software (Qtopia, for instance), to loading up Doom—they have a step-by-step for that one. We'll tentatively agree to pay more attention to this thing in the future, but the developers have to promise that they can get Doom III working on it right quick, or we'll just have to find another photo viewer that will.
