palmOne's update for the Sprint version of the Treo 650

Treo 650

palmOne finally got around to issuing a update for the Sprint version of the Treo 650 earlier this week. The update addresses some complaints about the phone, like the poor sound quality during calls and its notorious memory problems (they use non-volatile RAM in the 650, which means you won't lose all your data if your battery kicks the bucket, but until this fix also meant that some files and apps would take up more space than they did on the Treo 600), and also offers a few improvements, like an update for VersaMail and Bluetooth Carkit Drivers. What you're not getting from them: Sprint's long-promised support for Dial-Up Networking or anything close to a working driver for SD WiFi cards. So when are Cingular customers going to get some update love?
