Convert your G4 Cube to a Pentium M?

Mac G4 cube

This honestly smells a bit dubious and, regardless, borders on the practically pointless — but we're always down for a good laugh, so we're passing on news of the efforts of U-Power to 'upgrade' your Mac G4 Cube to a Pentium M processor. The PCube upgrade will be available in 1.5 and 1.8 GHz version with 2MB L2 cache, and be compatible with Windows XP Home, Windows XP Professional and Windows Server 2003. It's aimed at PC users envious of the G4 Cube design but with no desire to run PowerPC software, which for some reason U-Power feels is a vast, untapped market. Hopefully they know something we don't, because they're betting this market will shell out $399 and $449 for the 1.5 GHz/1.8 GHz upgrades on top of having to score an out of production Cube. Hey, whatever floats your boat.
