German coffee company Tchibo to sell Roomba knockoff
Yes, of course — who better to sell automated floor cleaning solutions than… a coffee company. German coffee chain Tchibo actually does sell a bunch of other things in their weekly theme store, to be fair, and this week's item is a low-cost version of the ever-lovin' Roomba floor-cleaning robot. This one features obstacle-avoiding push sensors, 3 modes for room sizes from 10 to 30 meters, stair-detecting sensors, and a rotating brush on its border to clean closer to walls. And — it's red! One can be had for about $110 USD, which makes it a cheaper date than ol' Roomba.
