Aug. 17: What's on HDTV today

Astros

What we're watching and why:

Again, we have two baseball games in HDTV airing tonight. It's the ESPN double-header, if you're lucky enough to have ESPN 2-HD. The Cubs seem to be in high def quite a bit lately, including at 8 p.m. in a game versus the Astros. It's a pretty equal-footed game, with the Astros showing a 64-55 record and the Cubs sporting a 58-62 record. At 10 p.m., the Blue Jays face the Angels, which leads the AL West.
