MSI Mega View 588 adds USB On-the-Go

The MSI Mega View 588 looks like the latest portable media player that you won't be able to buy in the U.S. Specs look similar to the earlier Mega View 566, including a 3.5-inch QVGA screen, 20GB hard drive and SD reader. The main addition looks to be USB On-the-Go, which could make this handy as a backup unit for digital cameras. Pricing is expected to be about €439 ($537), which seems a little steep, given that the 566 goes for about $399. Maybe it's just as well that we probably won't see this make the hop to our shores.
