Sept. 22: What's on HDTV today

What we're watching:

Boy did you folks beat me up over not watching "Lost" last night. I have an internal compass, so a show about being lost seems ludicrous to me! I know how great it is, so don't hammer me over it again; just enjoy the show.

So we've got another 11.5 hours of network prime time HDTV tonight, bringing us to 51.5 for the week so far. Of course that includes "Joey", so if we yank that out, we're at an even 51. (Hey, I gotta fuel the fire for those "Joey" comments too.)

After the jump is my personal lineup followed by our traditional listing of HD programs throughout the night. Since it continues to be such a big week for HDTV, drop us a comment and let us know what you're watching!

My planned lineup:

• "Everybody Hates Chris" at 8:00 p.m. on UPN (1080i). I just can't picture Chris Rock at this time slot, although I'm sure they kept it clean.
  

• "Love, Inc." at 8:30 p.m. on UPN (1080i). When is Holly Robinson Peete going to hit it big on TV? Maybe this is it.
  

• "CSI" at 9:00 p.m. on CBS (1080i). Three reasons to watch in HD: Marg, Marg, and Marg.
  

• "Criminal Minds" at 10:00 p.m. on CBS (1080i). We'll give this one ten minutes to see if it grabs our attention. There are just too many crime shows on and right now the CSI franchise is our favorite; unless Marg makes the move to Criminal Minds, that is.
