Oct 25: What's on HDTV today

World Series Game 2

What we're watching
:

The World Series travels to Houston for the third game, so my HDTV set is traveling along with it. I'll be tuning in to Fox as the White Sox head to Houston at 8 p.m. in 720p. The high-definition coverage has been outstanding so far, so even if you're not into baseball, stop in for an inning or two.

If baseball isn't your thing, give Showtime-HD a try at 8 instead. A movie based on a 1953 Philip K. Dick novel starts up in 1080i. "Paycheck" didn't score much pay in the theaters back in 2003, but it's not a bad high-def showcase movie. The thriller stars Ben Affleck who tries to regain his memory that's been erased.

After the jump is our traditional listing of HD programs throughout the night.
