Small HD at a small price
Looking for a widescreen LCD HDTV without the wide price tag? Envision offers some low cost alternatives to the big name and big ticket items. You'll have to sacrifice some screen real estate and features of course, but you can still nab a 720p widescreen set for a list price of $699.
The A27W221 is a 27-inch widescreen unit with a native res of 1280 x 720. You get a few advanced features like PIP, POP and PBP. That's Pic-in-Pic, Pic-over-Pic, and Pic-by-Pic for the acronym-challenged. At this price-point, you won't get a digital tuner or inputs like DVI or HDMI, but if your HD signal source outputs through component video, you've got an entry level HD set on the cheap.
