Dec. 11: What's on HDTV today

Crimson Tide

What we're watching:

Hmm...Wisteria Lane is closed on ABC for construction tonight: what's a desperate HDTV-geek to do? Not only that, but CBS is sans-HD programming for two nights in a row! I know everyone's rushing around buying holiday gifts, but at least give us some re-runs in high-def! Sheesh!

I'll hit up Showtime-HD for "Crimson Tide" in 1080i at 6 p.m. We recommended Denzel Washington last night in Glory, so why not see him in this 1995 thriller? Later in the evening, I'll catch a movie I recommended earlier this week, but actually missed. "I Dreamed of Africa" is on HDNet Movies again; this time at 10 p.m. This film should look spectacular in 1080i and the real-life based movie has a great storyline as well. Let me know what you think of it!

After the jump is our traditional listing of HD programs throughout the night.
