Samsung SGH-D600 cellphone reviewed

Marc Perton

Samsung's SGH-D600 isn't a smartphone, but that doesn't mean it's bereft of smart features. The GSM slider has a wealth of features, including a 2 megapixel camera with flash and special effects modes, audio and video outputs, and a 320x240 display. MobileBurn checked it out and declared it to be a "near-perfect" phone, with a camera that can take "high quality" pics, an MP3 player with good sound, and a solid user interface. One quibble: sluggish predictive-text input, which could put this one off-limits for heavy texters. Otherwise, according to MobileBurn, the D600 is "oh so close to being perfect."
