Dec. 23: What's on HDTV today

Ice Age

What we're watching
:

More repeats, so at least someone has the sense to run a movie in high-definition! Let's give it up for Fox tonight as they broadcast a great 2002's "Ice Age" in 720p. I saw this on the big screen with the kids and, like most kids movies, there are plenty of adult-ish jokes that the kids just miss completely.

This digital, animated flick exudes some brilliant colors and has a great cast of voices. Ray Romano, Dennis Leary, John Leguizamo, Jack Black and even Cedric the Entertainer lend their vocals to the movie. After seeing it once, I'd have to agree with the movie's tagline of: "The Coolest Event In 16,000 Years"

After the jump is our traditional listing of HD programs throughout the night.
