Mr. Fix-it repairs old PDAs

Can't bear to part with that ancient Clie or Visor? While we're tempted to ask why, we'll assume for the moment that you've got a semi-good reason for keeping the old hunk of junk lying around, and instead point you in the direction of Minnesotan Chris Short, who has made a specialty out of, you guessed it, breathing life into old handhelds. Short, who only works on Palm PDAs, charges a mere $5 to diagnose your handheld and can fix it at fees of about a third those charged by the manufacturers themselves — if your manufacturer is even willing to fix your old unit. Sounds like a great service, but we still have to ask you: why?
