Japan to be overrun by phone-wielding toddlers by 2007

If you think little kids on cellphones are annoying, you're gonna want to stay as far away from Japan as possible. According to a statistical handbook called "Japan Mobile Market," 29% of children ages five to nine owned a cellphone in 2004, and a whopping 64% of that age group are expected to own one by 2007. The study also predicted that Japanese babies will be issued SIM cards at birth by 2010, and that by 2017, nanobots will implant DNA-based micro-cellphones into every fetus' brain while he/she is still in utero. We totally made that last part up, but it sounded kind of plausible, right?
