Taking a look at Wii pricing

Infendo blogger Striegs does a good job of analyzing Nintendo's place in the current console race from a price perspective in his piece titled Evaluating the Worth of the Wii. In stating that Nintendo was smart to not reveal their price during the annual Nintendo press conference before E3, Striegs sees the company in the position to debut the Wii at a higher cost then some initially thought. With the earlier predictions of the console being priced between $150 and $199, to the now more widely-accepted $250 price tag due to Sony's announcement of its pricing for the PS3, it's obvious that Nintendo is in a much stronger position with their console than before E3 last week.
