Pay your way in to a video game
If you happen to not be a star athlete or random artist at a game studio, getting your likeness in a video game usually consists of moving different stats around during a character creation screen. Well, if you're too lazy to do that or too rich to know what to do with your money, there's a shady auction up on eBay that will give you the opportunity to pay big bucks to appear as a "background character" in the upcoming Battle of the Gods for the Xbox, Xbox 360, PS2, PS3, and Wii.
This is what you get for forking over a few thousand dollars:
Be the first to play the game in its early unreleased, unfinished stages. (after signing a non-disclosure and non-release form, of course).
Be the first viewable thing in the opening to chosen level, animated for worldwide release.
2 free copies of the game signed by the whole team. This will be a special edition only for you with you added to the cover.
Of course, if the game never comes to fruition, then you're pretty much screwed. But, hey, if you had that much to blow on something this silly anyway, chances are it won't matter to you.
