It's not like we weren't expecting it, but Samsung's Yepp YP-T9 player has finally been spotted in the US, though it's not exactly available yet. Best Buy has the 4GB player up for sale on their online store, but it's "backordered" for a week or two. The $199 pricetag lines up just fine with Apple's 4GB offering, but SanDisk's Sansa undercuts both of those at $179, so Sammy isn't getting any edge there. Luckily, the little player has gotten some decent review love, and it should be a decent option for those PlaysForSure Luddites that haven't yet jumped onto the hardware/software combo bandwagon, ala Apple, Microsoft and Real.

[Thanks, Mike]
