Women's game magazine launching in Germany
German publisher, Computec Media is launching Game Vanilla according to GameSpot. The magazine will be targeted at female gamers, and it will begin as a pack-in to women's magazine, Joy.
We'll root for just about any media endeavor, but this seems flawed from the beginning. Shouldn't publishers create great game magazines that appeal to anyone? Or is there a female counterpart to the male gaming magazines that use sex appeal to wash down bland editorial content?
