Kevin C. Tofel

Where was this when we were searching for a good Network Attached Storage device? SkipJam just upped the NAS ante with their new iMedia X-Stream Storage System. Not just a mega-storage machine, the X-Stream brings UPnP and Windows Media Connect functionality into the mix making it solid for audio or video streaming on your network or even on an Xbox 360. The self-configuration keeps life simple for adding multiple units and enables the unit to work with SkipJam's entire family of iMedia devices. The three Terabyte size will hit your budget at $3,299, but if you can get away with less storage, SkipJam offers the NAS in a 1.3TB and 2TB flavors as well.
