More DLPs to come with LEDs instead of lamps

Here is some good news for DLP fanboys. Samsung is not the only manufacturer that is going to be using the LED lightsouces in DLPs.Texas Instruments owns the rights and therefor other makers will be using the revolutionary evolutionary technique. Better news yet is that this is not going to be a "high-end" only feature. TI has two different chips that support the LEDs; one is 720p and the other is 1080p.

This is going to change the way people look at microdisplay technology. No longer is bulb life a concern. LEDs will produce 50% brighter screens with 200 trillion colors.
