Can't afford a decent soundsystem? Got an old HP scanner lying around? Download the linked program, and you can turn your ScanJet 4c or 4p into a presumably awful boombox by varying the stepping rate of the motor to produce audible frequencies. We're not sure if you can plug your MP3s in here, but like the optical mouse scanner hack, this one values fun over function.
