Looks like ATI read Kevin's post about HDMI picking up stream. Not wanting to be left in the DVI cold they've licensed HDMI technology.
The real question is, how do they plan on using it? To this date no one has included an HDMI port on a computer display. Is ATI preparing for the future of computer displays or expanding their HDTV integration? I hope it is the latter since HDMI would be a welcomed addition to a Home Theater PC.
