Moviegoer arrested for trying to "shush" chatty patron

It's pretty rude when someone doesn't listen to the animated bucket of popcorn and turn off his/her cellphone ringer, and it's even ruder when that person has the nerve to actually answer and start chatting it up during the movie, so we can totally see why a visiting Australian woman tapped her fellow moviegoer on the shoulder and shushed her. What we can't see, however, is how tapping someone on the shoulder inside a Webster, TX theater got Pauline Clayton charged with misdemeanor assault. Nonetheless, the chatty Cathy sitting in front of Clayton at this particular screening of Brokeback Mountain went into hysterics after the vicious shushing and called the cops (outside the theater this time, it seems), who arrested both her and Clayton. Now Clayton faces a $700 fine, the other woman faces a disorderly conduct charge, and Brokeback Mountain faces some stiff competition at the Oscars.
