The Virginia General Assembly has drafted a law and passed it on to the Governor to sign on July 1st. This will help ease Verizon's pain in deploying FIOS in that state by making it very easy to get carriage agreements, but not as easy as Texas. FIOS is popping up all over and it's well received for good reason. It offers very high speed Internet access and great quality HD!

Don't run out and call them just yet, it can take some time for this to be available in your area. You will know it's close when you start to see Verizon FIOS pizza boxes.
