Dallab launches a familiar looking DX8 Pocket PC phone

After receiving the prestigious “First local brand PDA phone” award from The Malaysia Book of Records for their DP900 Pocket PC phone, Dallab is releasing the good looking DX8 as a follow up. This time they're going for a slightly more prestigious record, "World's smallest Pocket PC phone," and they almost manage to succeed. The unit is fairly small, but so is its identical twin, AXIA's A308. All the specs are the same as well, including the 2.2-inch QVGA touch screen LCD, EDGE data, 1.3 megapixel camera, WiFi, and miniSD slot. In fact, it's really hard to see what, if anything, Dallab does differently with their version of this obviously OEMed handset. Oh well, better luck next time.
