Don't worry, it's only temporary. It's just that once again we here at Engadget have all gotten a little tired of spending so much time deleting comment spam and dealing with trolls and all that "first post!" crap that we're switching off comments on posts until we can find more ways to make the comment boards not completely sucky. We know, it sucks when a few manage to ruin it for everybody, and we really truly do appreciate the regular good commenters, who are generally incredibly bright and perceptive. We know you'll understand. In the meantime, if you want to comment on something we've written, post something up on your own blog; that's why we have that "Linking Blogs" link attached to every post now. We'll let you know when we can safely switch 'em back on.

All products recommended by Engadget are selected by our editorial team, independent of our parent company. Some of our stories include affiliate links. If you buy something through one of these links, we may earn an affiliate commission.
