Sony looking for new LCD supplier

Sony plans on selling 6 million LCDs by March and their current supplier does not seem to be able to met that demand. S-LCD, the joint venture Sony has with Samsung, just cannot make 'em fast enough. This manufacturing venture provides Sony with the 32-inch and larger panels while the smaller ones comes from other Taiwanese manufactures. This seems simply like growing pains for Sony. They have quickly rose to the number four LCD maker if based on units sold and they are number one if based on revenue generated.
