Japanese hardware sales, July 17 - 23: Not a good week in the war

This may not be the best of weeks for you fanboys out there to go spouting off against the Nintendo fanboys. The DS Lite spanked the PSP in hardware sales from July 17 through 23 by outselling it by 226,515 units. Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn!

- DS Lite: 262,453

121,595 (86.32%)
- PSP: 35,938

655 (1.86%)
- PS2: 22,288

1,639 (6.85%)
- DS Phat: 6,344

5,477 (46.33%)
- GBA SP: 2,953

334 (12.75%)
- Xbox 360: 1,472

367 (33.21%)
- Game Boy Micro: 1,410

171 (10.82%)
- Gamecube: 1,076

148 (15.95%)
- GBA: 20

8 (28.57%)
- Xbox: 0

10 (100.00%)

Hey, at least the PSP outsold the regular DS, right? It will be interesting to see, however, if the new firmware upgrade or the additions of Bleach, Ultraman and Bomberman to the PSP library help raise sells next week. If you really want to have a laugh, look at the Xbox's sales. Yeah, that's right zero!

[update 1: Apparently, I can't add, and I fixed a link.]
