No high-def "Live from the Red Carpet" this year
What? Why are we going backwards here? More shows are suppose to go high-def and HD shows should never ever revert back to standard definition. So why is E!'s "Live from the Red Carpet" Emmy coverage not being simulcast on INHD this year like it has since 2003? The obvious reason is that Joan Rivers might have missed her bi-yearly face transplant appointment and remembered how bad even Teri Hatcher looked in high-def. But we don't think that is the case as it appears (we really are not experts in this field) that Ms. Rivers will not be hosting the show. So we are placing the blame squarely on the outdoor lighting playing havoc on Ryan Seacrest's eye liner. That must be it.
