What about NAB2007?

Like every year, the National Association of Broadcasters show will take place in April in Las Vegas. It's the time you generally expect the name brands like Apple and Adobe to announce updates to their pro product line, like Final Cut and After Effects. With the introduction of the very consumer-level AppleTV and the new consumer-friendly Paramount catalog iTunes movies at Macworld, I got to thinking and speculating about what NAB2007 might bring.

With Apple's recent acquisition of Proximity, perhaps we'll be seeing more emphasis on media catalog management. The current Final Cut Studio suite of tools does great content production. But how about more emphasis about content deployment and distribution? With the success of YouTube will we see more tools geared to web delivery?

And isn't it just about time for Final Cut 6? And, yes, I'd really love to see a pro-level version of AppleTV, too. What are your thoughts TUAW readers? What should we be looking forward to at NAB2007?
