Live Top Ten: the rise of Crackdown
It was a busy week for Xbox Live last week, as three new titles have split the top ten in twain. The trio of titles are the Crackdown demo, Heavy Weapon, and the Battlestations: Midway demo, landing at #4, #6, and #7 respectively. The big story here is that the Crackdown demo -- just a demo, mind you -- managed to unseat Lost Planet, which has been unceremoniously shoved into the #5 slot. Granted, the Crackdown demo is free, but considering you can only play it for an hour at the most, it's still very impressive. The rest of the list is pretty much what we've come to expect, with Gears on top and Vegas and COD3 vying for second place. The bottom three slots are rounded out by Madden 07, Oblivion, and Saints Row respectively. Last week we asked whether or not we'd ever see something that isn't a shooter at #1.
