Food, fun, and photos from the Cooking Mama event
Reader Alex answered our call for photos from Saturday's Cooking Mamakickoff event held at the Nintendo World Store, and he wasn't messing around -- his Flickr set contains nearly 100 pictures! It's just like we were there ourselves, and thanks to his efforts and our caption skills, you can experience it as well. Hit the jump for a selection of photos, and then go wallow in the entire set. Just look at that crowd! We heard that this newfangled Nintendo Wii might be a little popular. How did we ever get that silly idea?

Now that the food's out of the way, it's time to learn the ins and outs of the game. After all, there's a competition to be won!

Awesome, it's time for prizes! We'd love to have one of those sweet Cooking Mama aprons, but alas, you had to be there. No matter, it seems a good time was had by all -- and that's what really counts.
