iTunes: Free Wednesday

Welcome to this week's edition of iTunes: Free Tuesday Wednesday. Each week TUAW searches the iTunes Stores throughout the world and brings you the latest free items for you to download and enjoy. This week got off to a very late start. It seems that Apple is sleeping in later and later each week, delaying the posting of the newest iTunes freebies, and with all the excitement about iTunes Plus it took an extra day for the Singles of the Week to go live. But all is well and we're happy to (finally) bring you this week's goodies. US and UK Readers can even download a free! iTunes Plus-grade track this week with the Single of the Week. Internationally, it's a very Jarhand week: it's the SOTW for Australia, New Zealand and Canada.

US Music

US: Ooh La by The Kooks
Each week, we find a track from an artist or a band who's on the cusp of success and bring it to you, for free, as our Single of the Week. The Kooks hail from Brighton and were nominated Best New Act at the 2006 Q Awards and won Best UK and Ireland Act of 2006 at the MTV Europe Music Awards. They're confirmed stars in Europe and the countdown to U.S. domination begins here with "Ooh La," a lanky pop confection that's all sunny suns and acoustic strums. Download our Single of the Week and get on the bandwagon early.

US: Ni Tu Ni Yo by Eduardo Cruz
(No Description. Link goes to full album. You'll need to look for the one free track.)

Video and International selections after the jump...

USP: kanYeWest Can't Tell Me Nothing video
Hip-Hop Rap.

US: The Real World Reunited
We take a trip back to Sin City in Reunited: The Real World Las Vegas. The tables are turned on the original cast of The Real World: Las Vegas as they head into their former home - the Real World suite at the Palms Casino and Resort - to see what's happened in the five years since the seven cast members lived together.

International

Australia: Jarhand by Immaculate Machine
Each week, we find a track from an artist or a band who's on the cusp of success and bring it to you, for free, as our Single of the Week. This week, we turn to Canada's Immaculate Machine. This group has been diligently performing at home since it formed about five years ago. Opening for bands such as the Arcade Fire and the Constantines gave Immaculate Machine more exposure, increasing their fan base and giving them the confidence that shows on "Jarhand". This is an effervescent track with a Motown rhythm that draws a little on the harmonies of roots-punk heroes X and fellow countrymen the New Pornographers (with whom they share a member). "Jarhand" also features some backing vocal assistance from Franz Ferdinand's Alex Kapranos and English trio the Cribs.

France: Work It by Native Guns

UK: God By Another Name by Ben's Brother
Each week, we find a track from an artist or a band who's on the cusp of success and bring it to you, for free, as our Single of the Week. The sound of the morning fog clearing, the sun peeking out, caffeinated steam swirling from a takeaway cup, and dew drops pecking the parka - that's the cool, optimistic vibe of Ben's Brother, fronted by Jamie Hartman. He probably doesn't intend to break hearts on this Single of the Week, but try not to reflect on past glories as Hartman tackles the infinite dilemma: You don't know what you got 'til it's gone. Fans of Keane, Travis, and Turin Breaks - make room in your heavy rotation playlist for Ben's Brother.
