Eidos gets emotional on XBLA with GEON: emotions
Eidos is going to release their first title on XBLA called GEON: emotions later this summer. You play as a box of emotions – eight actually (rage, passion, fear, envy, rapture, courage, bliss and melancholy) – trying to collect pellets and achieve goals. Try to ignore the humor found in feeding your emotions with pills. Not only that, but apparently the game will also have a "slick soundtrack to match," which makes us wonder if the music will be as trippy as the visuals and concept.
The concept seems like one of those things you can't really talk about until you get it in your hands – it looks like any Marble Madness/Monkey Ball game, but what's with the emotion component? The game talks about using your emotional strengths and weaknesses to accomplish goals. Though it was one of the random blips during the Microsoft press conference, it wasn't enough to get a decent impression; hopefully Eidos will release a video soon for us to get a better idea of GEON: emotions.
