Compro VideoMate V600 turns your monitor into a TV, but nothing else
Admittedly, there are some of us who would like to turn their computer monitor into a TV without the hassle of some sort of USB dongle or PC Card, and Compro's VideoMate V600 is just the tool for the job. The tuner is a break out box that supports 15- to 22-inch monitors with a maximum resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels. As a pretty basic, no-frills device, the only luxuries provided by the VideoMate are PIP functionality for simultaneous use of Windows and television viewing, and S-Video, composite, and component inputs. No word yet on pricing or availability.
