Nintendo refreshes Punch-Out!! patent, provides hope
On January 11th, Nintendo refreshed their patent on Punch-Out!! through the United States Patent and Trademark Office, all but confirming a future presence for the title on the Wii. The likelihood of an original game hitting the Wii is high as Nintendo originally filed the patent on April 1st, 2005, under the category "electronic game discs," leaving those speculating on a VC release of the game in the dark once again.
So, if Nintendo were to put out a new Punch-Out!! game on the Wii, would you want it to control like Wii Sports: Boxing? Or do you have a better control scheme in mind?
