Everybody's "favorite" GamePro has a feature up exploring what they call 14 myths of gaming. The challenge to conventional wisdom mostly focuses on HD issues. Demystification includes no-brainers like first-party controllers are better than cheaper third-party ones, 1080p is way ahead of its time, and NEVER buy retail warranties to lesser known beliefs like HD CRTs actually look better than LCDs and Plasmas, and 720p looks just as good if not better than 1080i in motion.
