About the Bloggers: Amanda Miller

About the Bloggers is a new series on WoW Insider. Twice a week, our writers will tell you more about themselves, and let you get to know them and the characters they play a little better.

What's your main right now?
Lately I've been switching between my level 70 Beast Mastery orc hunter (male), and my 50-something blood elf Holy paladin (female).

For the Horde, or Glory to the Alliance?
I'm definitely a Horde girl, although in the future I would like to level my Alliance characters.

Favorite thing to do in Azeroth?
I used to be heavily into fishing, but lately I've been spending most of my time in battlegrounds.

What's the best instance in the game?
I'm not as interested in instances as many players. When I'm healing, I find every dungeon fun and challenging. When I'm playing as DPS, I get bored more easily.

What's the number one thing Blizzard could do better?
I think Blizzard could send me, personally, more free things. A laptop, a WotLK beta key, and maybe a new car.

The best way to make money in-game is...
completing quests in Outland. Once you've finished those, the daily quests are a great way to make a fair amount each day. Pre-Outland, you have to farm, and if you can, save your gold.

Favorite mount?

I have an eye for the rare mounts and the Alliance mounts, because they're so unattainable for me. It would be difficult to choose just one, as I already have six or more mounts, and would love to have more.

When I'm not playing WoW, I'm...
often playing other games or visiting with friends. I enjoy reading, cooking, baking, listening to music; the average stuff.

What accomplishment in-game are you most proud of?
As a non-raider, I haven't achieved the same goals and reached the same depth of game content as some players. I am proud of my rare non-combat pets and other collectibles, my level of competence, and my healer.

If you could add one touch of personal flair to your main, what would it be?
For my hunter, I would love a second stable that would house tamed pets that I cannot use for battle, but could take out for fun, or even as a non-combat pet, in addition to my fighter. I'm still bogged down by sentimental pets that I just can't bring myself to delete.

If you had 10 more hours to play each week, what would you spend them doing?
I would probably take the time to do some heroics, which I generally have to pass on due to time constraints.
