Dojo update: No, you can't use the shuttle loop
Even though we really, really want to. To see what we're gibbering about now, go past the break, where spoilers lurk.
That checkerboard design. The checkpoint marker. The blue skies. Yup, it's only freakin' Green Hill Zone.
This stage appears in Brawl when you unlock Sonic, and features the same collapsible levels and looping track that were there in 1991. And, in possibly the neatest touch of all, you'll occasionally see Knuckles, Tails, and Silver tearing past you in the background. Is there anything more awesome than Sega stuff randomly popping up in Nintendo games? (At this point, please imagine us sighing in a happy, nostalgic fashion).
