GameTap's No Country for Old Arcades: SVGL
Joystiq buddy Jared Rea is exploring some of the greatest arcades in the US in a new feature on GameTap.com called "No Country for Old Arcades." The first stop on his tour is none other than the legendary SVGL, Sunnyvale Golfland, right in the heart of Silicon Valley. Though still a hotspot for the latest and greatest arcade games, that distinction is hardly the draw it used to be, when manufacturers like Midway and Atari brought "raw machines" in to gather feedback from a crowd of eager players.
