Overheard@GDC: 'We just ate two PlayStation 3s!'
In an attempt to counter the nutritional shortcomings of a constant coffee-and-bagel diet, Team Joystiq finally decided to treat itself to a proper meal on Thursday evening. With that in mind, San Francisco's Grand Café was chosen not only for its convenient location (connected to our hotel), but for its respectable list of barely pronounceable and pretentiously presented meals. We'll have the so-veeg non-blank and some cray-peas, thanks.
Of course, the price to be paid for such decadence can be high. Quipped the indomitable Justin McElroy upon seeing the bill: "Holy crap! We just ate two PlayStation 3s!"
