Tip of the Day: Get to know the LOTRO classes

Just getting started in Lord of the Rings Online? The official website has some class guides that may help you get started.

If you've ever wanted to jump into Turbine's Lord of the Rings Online MMO but you just didn't know what class might be right for you, we can help. The official site has a guide for each and every one of the seven roles, a series they call "What We Wish Other Classes Knew." It's intended to let existing players understand what classes can do for one another, but new players will find the guides just as helpful!

• The Burglar is the crowd control/dps hybrid class

• The Hunter is the ranged DPS class.

• The Minstrel is the support/healing class.

• The Lore-master is the crowd control class.

• The Guardian is the tanking class.

• The Champions is the melee DPS class.

• The Captain is the healing/taking hybrid class.
