Verizon taking FiOS orders in Mar Vista, California

Darren Murph

Despite Verizon's continued silence on the matter, FiOS has actually landed in Mar Vista, California. Earlier this year, clues were falling in place for the service to arrive, and according to a local, things are finally good to go. As the story goes, a Verizon representative actually stopped by tipster Jeff's house in order to persuade him to sign up for FiOS TV, high-speed internet and digital phone. He (the rep, that is) noted that installation appointments were being setup for next week, so we suspect we'll get the official word soon enough. At least you've got a few days to mull it over, right?

[Thanks, Jeff]
